Jupiter and Jupiter-M portable transistor radios.

Portable radio receivers and radios on p / p.DomesticFrom 1964 to 1967, the Jupiter and Jupiter-M portable transistor radios were produced by the Dnepropetrovsk Radio Plant. "Jupiter" is a superheterodyne, assembled on 7 transistors and intended for reception in the DV, SV bands. Sensitivity in the range of DV 1.5, SV 0.8 mV / m. Selectivity 26 dB. Rated output power 60 mW. The range of reproducible frequencies is 450 ... 3000 Hz. RP body made of polystyrene, consists of 2 parts, where there is a compartment with a cover for the power supply. When carrying, the radio is placed in the leather case included in the kit. There is a socket for the TM-4 telephone, when turned on, the loudspeaker is muted. The operation of the receiver is maintained when the supply voltage drops to 5.6 V. Adjustment and volume knobs, jacks for an external antenna and a telephone are located on the left side wall, the range switch is on the back cover. The scale is graduated in megahertz and is located on the tuning knob. The upgraded Jupiter-M receiver is designed in the same way, but has changes in the circuit and installation (described in detail in the documentation below).
