Chaika-201 black-and-white television receiver.

Black and white televisionsDomesticTelevision receivers for b / w images "Chaika-201" and "Chaika-202" have been produced by the "Gorky Television Plant" since 1969. The Chaika-201 TV set is assembled on the basis of a unified chassis of the ULPPT type of a 2nd class TV. The model uses a 59LK2B rectangular kinescope, covered with a decorative overlay. The TV was produced in a tabletop and floor design. Finished with valuable species (walnut or mahogany), the TV case measures 735 x 500 x 260 mm. The PTK knob is placed under the grill covering the loudspeakers, to the right of the grill are the control knobs; volume, bass tone with a loudspeaker switch when listening to sound on telephones, treble tone, contrast and brightness (from top to bottom). Under the handles are the buttons for the mains switch. There are two loudspeakers. The sensitivity from the antenna input is 50 μV. Sharpness is 450 lines horizontally, 500 lines vertically. The band of reproducible sound frequencies is 100 ... 10000 Hz. Audio channel output power - 1.5 W. Power supply from 127/220 V. Power consumption 170 W. The weight of the device is 36 kg. Together with this model, to expand the range of products, the plant produced the Chaika-202 TV, in addition to the design similar to that described. The Chaika-202 TV case is 40 mm shorter in front of the Chaika-201 TV case, since the control knobs on the Chaika-202 TV remained where they are located in the unified TVs of the 2nd class (on the right, at the top of the rear casing). On the front panel of the TV, under the grill, only the PTK handle and the network switch buttons are located. Since October 1971, televisions have been produced with a different frame sweep master oscillator circuit, where 1/2 6F5P lamp was used instead of the TX4B-T thyratron. In the KR generator, in comparison with ULT-47/59, the circuits for separating personnel sync pulses and supplying the lamp anode have been changed.
