Apparently the price increase was caused by the use of a transformer in a power supply unit and a 12-channel PTK. The TV was produced in conjunction with the first model until May 1961. The new TV set works in any of the 12 TV channels. It uses 16 radio tubes, 8 diodes and a 35LK2B kinescope, with a visible image size of 280x210 mm. The sensitivity of the model is 200 μV, the selectivity is 20 dB. The clarity of the picture in the center of the screen horizontally - 400, vertical - 450 lines. Brightness gradations - 6. The output power of the amplifier is 1 W, the audio frequency band is 100 ... 6000 Hz. The TV is powered from an electrical network with a voltage of 127 or 220 V. Power consumption is 150 W, in the first model it is 145 W. The case has dimensions of 415x450x525 mm, it is made with imitation of valuable wood species. The retail price of the TV after the 1961 monetary reform is 196 rubles, 00 kopecks. In 1961, an improved model of this TV set was developed under the name "Yenisey-2M", on the basis of which an even more advanced model "Yenisey-3" appeared in 1962. A significant contribution to the creation of the Yenisei-2M model was made by the leaders of the Krasnoyarsk TV plant V.I. Peskovsky, Yu.M. Goryachev, K.D. Novikov, M.A.Rudoy.
