In the TVs of the first releases, the local oscillator handle was brought out in front, under the bottom of the case. The built-in antenna allowed receiving close to television studios. Since 1954, TVs were produced without the abbreviation "TL1", without the upper covers and in a design similar to the design of the Avangard-55 TV. Since the fall of 1954, the Avangard TV in the new building, the newly built Krasnoyarsk TV plant began to produce. Since October 1954, a TV set in a new design has been produced in Minsk as well. Since 1957, the Polish People's Republic has been producing a copy of the TV "Avangard" TL-1 with the name "Wisla" (T-16).
