Network tube radio "Record".

Tube radios.DomesticSince 1945, the network lamp radio receiver "Record" has been produced by the Belovsky plant "Kuzbassradio" and since 1946 by the Aleksandrovsky plant No. 729 NKS, MRTP. The first post-war receiver Record was developed in network and battery versions in mid-1944 at the Kuzbassradio plant, combined with plant No. 729, evacuated in 1941, but both versions at the Belovsky plant began to be produced in 1945. Since autumn, the plant № 729 NKS, already at the place of its permanent location, began production of "Record" network receivers of the 1945 model. The Kuzbassradio plant for some time produced both types of receivers, which is why the network receivers of the factories differed in the front panel and the scale pattern. About one thousand battery receivers were produced. There is almost no information on the battery version, only in the magazine Technology of Youth No. 9 for 1945 it was written that the battery version had two HF sub-bands. Since the beginning of 1946, the Kuzbassradio plant has already produced only Record-46 network receivers. Since the fall of 1946, plant No. 729 NKS also began production of Record-46 receivers. Before the development of the receiver, trophy receivers were studied, suitable for the basis of the development of a cheap, massive, economical, at the same time sensitive and selective receiver, with a short wave range for listening to central radio stations anywhere in the USSR. Some of the circuitry and design developments were copied from the pre-war receivers of the firms "Siemens" and "Tesla". The first Record receivers were manufactured in wooden and plastic cases. The plastic version of the receiver was soon abandoned due to imperfect casting and delivery problems. The Record network receiver had some design flaws that affected its reliability and ease of use, which is why changes were made to its design and electrical circuit several times during the production period. Major changes were made to the model, which was produced since 1946. "Record" is a cheap, massive five-lamp superheterodyne radio receiver intended for individual use in areas with an AC or DC power grid, voltage 110 or 127 V. It was allowed to connect the receiver to a 220 V power grid, but using additional resistance. Read more about the receiver in the documentation provided. In the photo gallery, the top row of photos is the "Record" receiver from 1945, from the 9th photo, the "Record" receiver from 1946. On the forum http://forum.oldradio.org.ua/index.php?board=214.0 that the 1945 and 1946 "Record" radio was produced in five versions.
