Volna-K is a special telephone and telegraph radio receiver for radio communication on ships of coastal and long-distance navigation and as an auxiliary receiver in the Navy. The receiver has 16 tubes and operates in 9 sub-bands, covering frequencies from 12 KHz to 23 MHz. The receiver has a control loudspeaker, headphone jacks. A double conversion of frequency and a step change in the passband of the second IF of 0.5, 1.5 and 6 KHz are applied.
