Spartak black-and-white television receiver.

Black and white televisionsDomesticThe Spartak black-and-white television receiver was developed in 1957. The experimental Spartak TV set (like the Salyut and Druzhba TVs) belongs to the category of high-quality television receivers, in which new picture tubes of the 53LK5B type with an electron beam deflection angle of 110 ° are used. Thanks to the use of such a kinescope with a shortened neck, it became possible to reduce the depth of the case. The vertical chassis design, printed mounting, the use of adapter blocks and standardized assemblies made it possible to create a modern TV model of relatively small size and weight, adapted for the use of extensive mechanization of the assembly and installation process. The TV has jacks for turning on headphones, they can also be used for recording sound on a tape recorder, playing back a gramophone. The circuit includes: automatic high-speed gain control, automatic brightness control and inertial line sync. In the electrical circuit of the UPCHI, a circuit is introduced, changing the parameters of which makes it possible to correct the clarity of the image. The output stage of the horizontal scan is made according to the scheme with symmetrical switching on of the deflecting coils and without magnetizing the transformer core. The sensitivity for the image channel is 50 µV. Resolution in the center of the screen: horizontal 500, vertical 550 lines. The band of reproducible sound frequencies is 80 ... 7000 Hz. The nominal sound power of the low frequency amplifier is 1 W. Powered by an alternating current with a voltage of 127 or 220 V. Power consumption 165 W. The TV is made in a floor design in a case with fine wood finishing and polishing. The speaker system consists of two loudspeakers of the 4GD-1 type, located on the front side of the case below the screen. The speaker was draped with decorative fabric. For the convenience of using the TV, the main control knobs (channel switch, local oscillator setting, volume control with power switch, tone control, brightness and contrast control) are located above the screen, on the front wall of the case, all auxiliary knobs are located on the back of the case. The Spartak TV uses 17 vacuum tubes and 14 germanium diodes. Image size 360x475 mm. The dimensions of the TV case, including the legs, are 585x760x455 mm. Weight 42 kg. The Spartak TV did not go into serial production.
