An experimental TV set for receiving television programs "Uranus" was created on the basis of the TV set "KVN-49". The electrical circuit, design and technical parameters of the TV are similar to the base model. The difference consisted in the use of a new 18LK7B kinescope, a new design, an improved speaker system from two speakers, a different form of the case and the front panel. The device was not put into production due to the lack of novelty and similarity with the KVN model.
