Black and white televisionsDomesticSince the beginning of 1932, the FT-1 black-and-white television receiver has been produced by the Odessa Experimental Electromechanical Plant. Here is a description of the first serial mechanical TV in the magazine "Radiofront". The cover of this issue of "Radiofront" shows a TV. The first series of 50 TV sets is manufactured in Odessa at the Experimental Electromechanical Plant by order of the Moscow Technical Broadcasting Center. The TV set is mounted together with a radio part, consisting of one amplification stage and a stage for synchronization with a full power supply from an AC network of 110 ... 120 volts. The TV has three control knobs: one for turning on the alternating current, the second for adjusting the speed of the motor and the third has 2 functions: by rotating it, the picture frame is set; pushing in or pulling out its neon lamp is placed against the top or against the side window (receiving telecine or receiving television).
