Subscriber loudspeaker "Riga".

Subscriber loudspeakers.DomesticThe subscriber loudspeaker "Riga" from 1946 to 1966 produced the Riga Electromechanical Plant and the Daugavpils prison OTs 78/3. The subscriber loudspeaker "Riga" was produced in various design options. The cases were made of wood and carbolite. The loudspeaker at first was one piece with the chassis, where the transformer and the loudness rheostat were fixed, later the loudspeaker was used as a separate one, and a conventional angular potentiometer was installed instead of the rheostat. The type of AG also varied from 0.15GD-III-3 to 0.25GD-III-1. The name “Riga” was invariably, though not very noticeable. The subscriber loudspeaker "Riga" is intended for listening to programs transmitted over wired radio broadcasting networks with a voltage of 30 volts. The range of sound frequencies reproduced by the loudspeaker was different in different models, from 120 ... 200, to 4000 ... 5000 Hz. Of course, each new release of the loudspeaker must be considered a separate one, but to understand everything thoroughly with all the paucity of information is quite problematic.
