The tuner was part of the Radiotekhnika-101-stereo stereophonic complex of household radio equipment, but it was also sold as a separate device. The tuner is designed to receive mono and stereo broadcasting programs in the VHF range (polar modulation) and mono broadcasting programs in the LW, MW and HF ranges.
