The portable reel-to-reel transistor tape recorder &quot;Ritm-2&quot; (25D-43) has been produced by the Leningrad Cinema Equipment Plant (LOMO) since 1970. There is little information on the tape recorder. The tape recorder replaced the previous model of the plant, the &quot;Rhythm&quot; tape recorder. The &quot;Ritm-2&quot; tape recorder is designed for synchronous recording of sound phonograms when filming movies outside the pavilions, including when carrying or transporting. The tape recorder is monophonic, has two microphone inputs with mixing and a separate path for recording and playback of a synchronization signal. External power supply from 12 volts. The speed of pulling the magnetic tape is 19.5 cm / sec. The range of recorded and reproduced sound frequencies on a magnetic tape of type 6 is not more than 40 ... 12000 Hz.

Military assembly, the quality of installation is the highest! One layout of the harnesses is worth something. The main engine is fixed in a special glass. The design is interesting and surprisingly solid. The safety margin is for centuries. All swivel castors are roller bearing. The engine has a rather massive shaft, the shaft itself is not very massive. Perhaps this solution makes it possible to do without two flywheels, because a small but massive shaft rotating at high speed is not very sensitive to external influences (shaking, vibration). The second motor is smaller, only for rewinding, from it the rotation is transmitted to the feeding (left) cassette holder through the roller. The installation of some other boards is provided, for them there are free connectors. It looks like two microphones are connected to the device (three-wire connection, XLR), and the level is adjusted separately for each. Maybe that&#39;s what a two-track head is for.
