The new unit is a transistorized bass amplifier combined in one housing with a loudspeaker and a power supply. The unit is designed to amplify electrical signals from tape recorders, radio receivers, electric playing devices and pickups of adapted string musical instruments. "Electron-2" has separate tone control for higher and lower sound frequencies. Rated output power 2 W at 3% THD. Maximum output power 4 W. The range of reproducible sound frequencies is 80 ... 12000 Hz. The amplifier works on the loudspeaker 4GD-8E. The unit can be powered from ten 373 elements with a total voltage of 15 V or from an alternating current with a voltage of 127 and 220 volts through a special external rectifier.
