Network lamp radio gramophone "UP-2M".

Electric players and tube electrophonesDomesticSince the beginning of 1957, the "UP-2M" network tube radio gramophone has been produced by the State Union Electrotechnical Plant "Elfa" and the Moscow Electric Machine Building Plant. The radio gramophone "UP-2M" is assembled on the basis of the previous model "UP-2" and does not differ from it in terms of the electrical circuit and design. The main difference between the model is the start of the electric motor with the help of the tonearm and the presence of an auto-stop, at the end of the playing of the record. The model uses a new tonearm, which was soon replaced by a more modern one. The mains switch is combined with the volume control, and the motor switch is removed. The radio gramophone is also assembled in three radio tubes, two of which 6N9S and 6P6S work in a low-frequency amplifier, and the third, 6Ts5S, in a full-wave rectifier. The amplifier operates on the 1GD-5 loudspeaker giving it an output power of up to 1 W. The speaker system effectively reproduces the audio frequency range from 100 to 6000 Hz. The radio gramophone plays regular and LP records designed for 78 rpm, as well as LPs with compacted microrecordings designed for 33 rpm. Power consumption 60 watts. The dimensions of the device are 160x350x260 mm. Weight 5 kg.
