"TPS-54" (Network Broadcasting Receiver, model 1954) is intended for installation at receiving radio centers. It operates in the long, medium and short wave ranges (3.95 ... 18 MHz). Since 1958, on the basis of the TPS-54 radio receiver, the plant has been producing a kit for assembling an amateur receiver operating in the LW, MW and four HF subbands (16 ... 75 m) with a second local oscillator for receiving telegraph and SSB signals from amateur radio stations. The production of the TPS-54 receiver was discontinued in 1965, the radio amateur designer in 1966.
