Small-sized radio receiver `` Cosmos ''.

Portable radio receivers and radios on p / p.DomesticThe small-sized radio receiver "Cosmos" was developed at the IRPA and was experimentally produced in 1962. In the early sixties of the twentieth century, unprecedented progress began in the USSR. New cities and factories were built, spaceships were launched into space, and the life of Soviet people improved. In the radio industry, hundreds of new models of radio equipment were developed, including small ones on transistors. The developers tried to create fully functional models with minimal dimensions and weight. One of these models, a small-sized Kosmos radio receiver, is in front of you. "Cosmos" is one of the prototypes of the well-known "Cosmos" radio receiver, which has been serially produced since 1963 by the Sarapul Radio Plant named after V.I. Ordzhonikidze. The prototype surpassed the production model in many respects, had low costs, was easier to manufacture and customize, but like many others it did not go into production and now no one knows for what reasons. The name "Cosmos" contains perhaps the main theme of those years - the space epic. The radio is assembled according to a superheterodyne circuit on four micromodules (these are assemblies of the type of modern microcircuits, but on larger elements). The radio has the LW and MW bands. The sensitivity of the model to a magnetic antenna is 3 ... 5 mV / m. Selectivity about 20 dB. The rated output power is 50 mW, and the maximum is 120 mW. Power is supplied from the Krone battery. There is a headphone jack.
